Romance in Vermont

Engagement Portraits

Romance in Vermont is nothing new. But romance in Vermont in this amazing Christmas tree farm, with Erin rocking that red dress… and that ring, oh that ring!  Not to mention the fun and charming personality of Chris.  It was so much fun photographing these two

They will be getting married in September at their backyard (you can see the house on the background of few of the pictures). I can’t wait to see it all set up. The house offer an amazing view of the Adirondack mountains.

This place is almost magical. So quiet and beautiful! Not a better place to be in love, get engaged or get married.  No matter the season. This session was perfect. The light was awesome and the furry friend was very sweet and obedient 🙂 I have many favorites from this session. Love and

Engagement at Burlington Waterfront

Amber & Bill

After many weeks trying to sync our schedules and catch a good weather, we finally got our shoot done.  A beautiful evening by the Waterfront Park in Burlington, VT. It was a very relaxed session with hints of a nautical theme. Burlington is a great backdrop for any kind of portraits. You have the mountain views from Battery Park, a nautical look by the waterfront, an urban/boutique look at Church St.  I LOVE BURLINGTON, VT! Engagement at Burlington Waterfront

Engagement Portraits

Catherine & Stuart

This young couple from Michigan are getting married here in VT this weekend! It always  feels so good to witness pure and sincere love, but these two are so romantic together… I felt like I was watching Romeo & Juliet while photographing them. I tried to capture just that during their engagement portraits session. They picked Mt. Philo state park, in Charlotte, VT. Beautiful views and perfect secret garden spots for portraits.

Engagement at Brewster River Gorge VT

Romantic engagement session

I had a lovely evening photographing this engagement/family combo session of Julie & Aaron and their 3 kids last week. I suggested the Brewster River Gorge for their session, as they love enjoying the outdoors as a family. This location has a little bit of everything: a coverage bridge, a beautiful 15min hiking track along the river to a nice waterfall. The light was perfect and I prize Julie for picking on heels most of the time 😉

Engagement Session

{Engagement Session} at Mt. Philo State Park

Maria & Justin

One of my biggest concerns when I moved here from Florida, was the weather. How it would impact my business, as  I photograph mainly on location, and still don’t have a studio. Although I’ve been lucky with mother nature, in this particular day I had that feeling of nostalgia, having all types of weather (except snow) in less than one hour (exactly like back home in Petropolis, Brazil). I was starting to feel disappointed until I saw the rainbow. It wasn’t a full, brilliant one, but was a rainbow! Is that luck? I don’t know. I think it’s more a state of mind. I’m a very positive thinking person, and I believe one has to be grateful for what they have, and make it work in their advantage. That is how I try to live life in all levels. I love how the images came out. Mostly of corse, the rainbow one 😉  Enjoy!
