Romance in Vermont

Engagement Portraits

Romance in Vermont is nothing new. But romance in Vermont in this amazing Christmas tree farm, with Erin rocking that red dress… and that ring, oh that ring!  Not to mention the fun and charming personality of Chris.  It was so much fun photographing these two

They will be getting married in September at their backyard (you can see the house on the background of few of the pictures). I can’t wait to see it all set up. The house offer an amazing view of the Adirondack mountains.

I literally left the movie theater determined to style a wedding editorial inspired by the movie. I immediately started looking for a castle with little hope I could find one in VT. Someone told me about Wilson Castle and from the Pictures I saw of the exterior, I knew it could be a good fit.  So I set up a visit with Denise (the owner) and took a road trip to go check it out. I was just mesmerized by it’s architectural beauty. The castle is not in a good shape. It is under restoration fase, and there is a lot to be done. Denise raises money to keep the routine maintenance by renting it out for parties or weddings. Visit their website to learn more about the history and events for the spring and summer.

Rockingham Meeting House VT

Romance & History

Wedding at Rockingham Meeting House VT

What a way to start the wedding season!  Photographing a wedding at one of the oldest historic structure in the country. The Rockingham Meeting House VT, also known as Old North Meeting House and First Church in Rockingham, is a historic civic and religious building on Meeting House Road in Rockingham, Vermont. The Meeting House was built between 1787 and 1801 and was originally used for both Congregational church meetings as well as civic and governmental meetings. Church services ceased in 1839 but town meetings continued to be held in it until 1869. It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2000 as an exceptionally well-preserved “second period” colonial-style meeting house. The building, owned by the town, is available for weddings and other events under rules established by the town. Reception was held at Rockingham Hill Farm, right down the street from the Church. Another gem I had the pleasure to explore during a “work day”. Rockingham meeting house VT

My love for Surreal Images

Creating is Art Surreal images

Surreal Images Photo manipulation allows the photographer to create unique images. Surreal Images that can reflect our own dreams and emotions or the client’s lifestyle. Surrealism has always intrigued and amazed me. So I decided to go deeper and learn how to create them. All images you see here were created from scratch.  I built the oceans, the skies, the landscape. The people are models or clients I photographed in the past. I’m planing to start a “series” of shoots this year to create enough material for a gallery show. Keep tuned! Surreal images

All the way from California

Getting married in Vermont from California

from california Jessica was the dream-bride to any photographer. Supper organized and on time. When I arrived for the “getting-ready” pictures, EVERYONE was ready, dressed up and available for my calls. The best part was that although she had everything under control, she enjoyed the day and had fun!  That is the proof that a wedding day doesn’t have to stress you to be perfect. Even if you came all the way from the other coast.  And of course I have to give a shout out to the maid of honor, bridesmaids, best man and groomsmen for giving their full support to make Jessica & August’s day, the best!

Another amazing September day in Jay VT. Venue: Sheady Acres
